We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Penderels Trust, a leading not-for-profit organisation providing independent living services nationwide.

As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and updating all records relating to PAYE, including submissions using Real Time Information (RTI).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing information and advice to service users in relation to PAYE, SMP, SPP and SSP
  • Setting up new employees on the payroll service
  • Collating and conveying customer information relating to Tax and National Insurance Liability in line with statutory requirements

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a payroll and/or finance department
  • Ability to input and maintain accurate data records
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (including Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Minimum GCSE Grade 'C' or equivalent in English and Maths
