About the Role

To provide a high level of security service working in line with the Assignment Instructions and client requirements in order to protect the client's employees, property and other assets. Delivering the highest levels of customer service which consistently demonstrate Securitas' core values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.

  • 33 Hours Per Week
  • 4 on 2 off
  • Early shift 06:00- 14:00 / Late shift 14:00- 22:00
  • £10.58 per hour
  • SIA - Essential
Job Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with clients in respect of serious incidents.
  • Maintaining logs and reporting concerns and incidents.
  • Monitoring and managing key and vulnerable access points.
  • Patrolling and securing the area.
  • Protecting the company's assets relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues.
  • Reporting non-compliance with occupancy to housing officers.
  • Actively working towards ambitious personal goals and demonstrating enthusiasm and energy towards all aspects of work.
  • Taking responsibility for one's own personal impact and development, focusing on increasing self-awareness.
  • Showing respect for individual differences and perspectives amongst colleagues.
  • Identifying problems within one's own area of remit and taking responsibility for finding a solution.
  • Being reliable and smart in appearance, alert, visible and having a strong security presence.
  • Being able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Having strong customer service skills.

  • Depending on location, enhanced DBS checks may be required.

  • SIA Licence Essential
  • 5-year checkable education / work history
  • Must have Right to work in the UK
  • Ability to transcend to multiple cultures and interact effectively at all levels

Desirable:

  • Fire Warden desirable but not essential (full training can be provided).
