Job Summary

Payroll Expenses Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Expenses Assistant to join our Payroll Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of the Trust Benefits schemes, Lease cars, Car parking, and Expense claims.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to learn complex regulations. They will work closely with Payroll, Human Resources, Fleet Solutions, and ISS to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service to our workforce and external organizations.

Main Responsibilities

The post holder will work with the Expenses Officer to provide, administer, and check the Trust's travel, course, relocation, and subsistence expense claims. They will also manage all administration and maintenance as system admin for the Trust's expense system.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of the Car Lease Scheme and will act as a source of help and advice to employees. They will also ensure that Salary Sacrifice car details are entered onto ESR in order for P11D information to be accurate and informing HMRC of the correct information.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of expense claims and benefits administration. They will have excellent communication and organizational skills and be able to work accurately and efficiently within strict deadlines.
