Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to support within Early Years or Key Stage 1 at a primary school in Erdington, Birmingham. This is a full-time and long-term role available ASAP.
About the Role:
- The successful candidate will work closely with teaching staff to provide support for SEN students.
- Prior experience working with SEN students and knowledge of Team Teach training would be beneficial.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience working in education, preferably in a similar setting.
- A strong commitment to promoting equality and diversity in the classroom.
- An understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.
- A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Connex Education.
