Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our client school's support team. This role will involve providing 1:1 support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and complex needs in an inclusive environment. You will work closely with pupils who face challenges in the classroom, encouraging their active engagement with the curriculum. The ideal candidate will be capable of building strong relationships with children and adapting their approach based on individual needs.


Main Duties:

  • Providing tailored assistance to pupils with SEN and complex needs
  • Working closely with pupils who face challenges in the classroom
  • Adjusting support and approach based on individual needs
  • Maintaining detailed records of pupils' progress


Applicant Specification:

The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree or equivalent qualification and have at least one year of experience working in a primary school setting. They must be capable of building strong relationships with children and becoming a trusted figure in the classroom.
