Job Summary

Ardonagh Advisory is seeking an experienced Technical Account Manager to join our fast-growing Facultative Reinsurance team. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the servicing of client accounts is proactive and of the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the fulfilment of all client service activities for your clients, including drafting MRCs, creating market presentations, and using PPL/Whitespace.
  • Process entries, including Open TWINS experience, and dairying forward future tasks to action.
  • Work with IBA to ensure Premium Payment Conditions are met and resolve queries that may impact on client service.
  • Keep accurate records at all times.

Technical Capability

  • Provide and gather information to and from Underwriters, Brokers, Technical Staff, and Business Producers as required.
  • Provide expert advice on contract documents within specified classes of business.
  • Produce clear and accurate documents and wordings for clients that provide the best possible cover in the market and adhere to all regulatory requirements.
  • Use class of business (Property) knowledge to produce contract documents and documents suited to the client's needs.
  • Check and recommend amendments to policies/contract documents produced by others prior to agreement by Underwriters.
  • Check final contract documents against slip or proposal details to ensure appropriateness of the proposed standard policy.
  • Create original and complex contract documents and maintain database of contract documents and policy information.
  • Maintain up-to-date and orderly files.
  • Utilise in-house, Lloyd's, and Company market systems, including Open TWINS, LORS, and Price Forbes Re computer systems.
  • Evaluate the status of workflow across your team and report on a regular basis to management.
  • Support other Technical Account Managers across Ardonagh Advisory.

Leadership/Management

  • Work closely with Divisional Leadership to identify and drive opportunities for improved processes.
  • Be a real team player, willing to assist/mentor less experienced Technical Account Managers and help across the wider business in busy times.
  • Build relationships with peers across different Ardonagh Advisory teams to drive improved processes and best practice.
  • Manage and undertake assigned project work to time scales as directed.

Representing Ardonagh Advisory

  • Champion the Ardonagh Advisory name and core values to clients and the wider marketplace.
  • Represent Ardonagh Advisory with clients, agents, suppliers, and other organisations.

Compliance

  • Comply with relevant legal, regulatory, and Ed compliance requirements, E&O compliance procedures, and quality initiatives.
  • Escalate any potential E&Os to Divisional Directors and the Legal & Compliance team at the earliest opportunity.
