Theatre Support Practitioner

As a highly skilled and dedicated theatre support practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in our dynamic operating theatre environment. With a strong focus on delivering high-quality patient outcomes, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team that works collaboratively to ensure seamless surgical operations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing operating theatres for procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are readily available.
- Provide effective support to surgeons, anaesthetists, and other theatre staff during complex surgeries, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor under pressure.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement evidence-based practice and promote a safe, caring environment for patients.
To succeed in this rewarding role, you must possess:
- A relevant degree or diploma in nursing or operating department practice, along with active professional registration with either the RCN or HCPC.
- Experience working in an acute healthcare setting, with a proven ability to work effectively within the boundaries of the HPC Code of Professional conduct.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to prioritize and coordinate tasks efficiently.
