CAMHS Nurse Practitioner

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled and experienced CAMHS Nurse Practitioner to join our Northallerton CAMHS Team. As a Band 5 or Band 6 nurse, you will play a key role in providing mental health support and advice to children and young people, working collaboratively within the local team and with other CAMHS teams and external providers.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health difficulties experienced by children and young people, as well as knowledge of therapies and interventions used in treatment. They will be able to recognize and manage common physical health complications and demonstrate excellent communication skills when working with service users and their families/carers.

The role involves providing mental health support and advice to children and young people, working collaboratively within the local team and with other CAMHS teams and external providers. The post holder will also be involved in continuous service development, reviewing, improving, and delivering services to the community.
