Clinical Support Worker Higher Level

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic theatre team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. As a Clinical Support Worker, you will provide vital support to surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre teams, ensuring smooth operation of the theatre complex.

The theatre complex at The Friarage Hospital currently comprises 5 main in-patient/day case theatres and a recovery area. Our new Surgical Hub will feature state-of-the-art technologies and modern facilities, increasing the theatre complex to 6 main theatres, 2 minor ops theatres, a regional anaesthetic area, and a recovery area with onsite admission and discharge areas.

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our theatre team. To succeed in this role, you will require a strong work ethic, ability to work effectively in a team, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications and Requirements
  • Numeracy and Literacy Level 2 or GCSE equivalent (A-C/4-9)
  • Care certificate
  • Level 3 vocational qualification or Short courses and completion of competency workbook equivalent to Level 3 in a range of patient and clinical care duties
