**Job Description:** Supporting Young Learners with SEMH Needs
We are looking for a skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Cheshunt. As a SEN TA, you will work closely with students in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

**Requirements:**
- Experience working with children with SEMH needs, ideally within a school setting
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and SEMH interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A calm, empathetic, and patient approach to working with children
- Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake additional training
**Responsibilities:**
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with SEMH needs
- Implement strategies to support emotional regulation and positive behaviour management
- Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to adapt lesson plans and resources
- Monitor and track students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
- Promote inclusion, helping students engage fully with the school curriculum and activities
**Salary:** £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, dependent on experience
