Job Title: Teaching and Learning Support Associate

Austin Fraser is delighted to be working with a thriving primary school in Waltham Cross to find a dedicated Teaching and Learning Support Associate to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, with a strong background in developing and implementing curriculum and lesson plans that cater to the needs of diverse learners.

The salary for this role is estimated to be £90 - £100 per day, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the teaching team in developing and implementing curriculum and lesson plans that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Provide care and support for toddlers and preschool-aged children, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met
  • Teach foundational math and literacy skills to ensure each child reaches their full potential
  • Plan and organize activities that meet the needs of diverse learners and cater to individual differences
  • Monitor and assess the progress of each child, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans and activities that meet the needs of diverse learners
  • Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children
