Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating all EHS activities in the Plant to drive programs and create a culture of safety and health. This role will work closely with the Corporate EHS department to understand the cost of safety and achieve a world-class level at the facility.

Responsibilities
The EHS Coordinator will be responsible for:
  • Developing and implementing a Severe Injury and Fatality (SIF) Mitigation Program
  • Ensuring key managers are certified in Level I, II, and III compliance training
  • Human and Operational Performance Awareness Program Training
  • Launching a Safe Start Program focused on Human Factors throughout the Plant
  • Detailed injury root cause analysis and incident reporting
  • Ensuring facility conformance with all applicable federal, state, local, and corporate environmental, health, and safety laws, regulations, policies, and guidelines, as well as maintaining appropriate documentation
  • Ensuring all employee training is completed, documented, and maintained in regard to regulatory requirements
  • Monitoring follow-ups and corrective action resulting from all corporate and plant EHS audits
  • Contingency and emergency preparedness planning
  • Pollution prevention and waste minimization
  • Hazardous waste, air programs, water programs, and community Right to Know
  • Evacuation and emergency take cover drills
  • Providing data required for all aspects of SARA Title III reporting, including Tier II and Form R reports
  • Title V Air Emission reporting, contingency plan, chemical exposure
  • Noise exposure and audiometric management
  • Control of hazardous energy

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years of experience in an EHS role
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of all local, state, and federal laws and regulations
  • Ability to work any shift and extended hours to support employees on all shifts
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and various EHS software programs
  • Approximately 10% overnight travel

What We Offer
Crown Holdings offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
