Job Title: Learning Disabilities Deputy Manager

Location: West Bridgford, Nottingham

Salary: £28,000 per annum

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing care provider as a Deputy Manager for their service supporting adults with Learning Disabilities. As Deputy Manager, you will take the lead in the absence of the Registered Home Manager, ensuring that the service meets the CQC fundamental standards and is safe, caring, effective, responsive, and well-led.

You will be responsible for assessing medical competencies for team leaders and support workers, and mentoring staff to achieve high standards. You will also participate in the on-call rota and work flexibly to meet the needs of the business. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Take the lead, in the absence of the Registered Home Manager, for all regulatory and compliance requirements, send necessary notifications to CQC, promote Duty of Candour, and ensure the service provision meets the CQC fundamental standards.
  2. Mentor staff to achieve high standards and participate in the on-call rota.

Requirements:
  1. Experience of working with Learning Disabilities.
  2. Qualification to Level 3 and willingness to work towards Level 4/5.
  3. Able to assess medical competencies and mentor staff.
  4. Flexible to meet the needs of the business.
