We are seeking an experienced Academic Support Worker to join our team at The Learning Support Centre. As an Academic Support Worker, you will provide academic support to students with disabilities in Higher and Further Education, ensuring they receive the best possible outcome.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing academic support to students with disabilities in Higher and Further Education.">
  • Supporting students with a range of disabilities, including physical, sensory and learning disabilities.">
  • Developing and maintaining effective relationships with students, staff and other stakeholders.">
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.">
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.">

We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.

Requirements:

  • GCSE Maths and English qualifications">
  • Degree-level education">
  • Experience in studying or working in a Higher or Further Education setting">
  • Experience in supporting disabled people or people with Specific Learning Differences">
