We are looking for a highly skilled Learning Disability Nurse Advisor to join our team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a liaison, strategic, and educational role within the acute hospital setting.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of government policies and legislation relating to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their health needs. Teaching qualifications and experience working in a hospital setting would be advantageous.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £55,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Team
  • To work closely with management teams within Nottingham University Hospitals and Specialist Services Directorate of Nottinghamshire Healthcare (Notts HC) Trust.
  • To provide complex sensitive information in a highly emotive atmosphere.
  • To assist in the development of health promotion initiatives for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The successful candidate will be employed by Nottinghamshire Healthcare and will be based at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham.
