Role Overview

This role offers a unique opportunity to work as a Disability Assessor, providing assessments for individuals with various health conditions and disabilities. As a part-time employee, you will have the flexibility to balance your workload with personal commitments.

Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified professional to join our team as a Disability Assessor. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing a wide range of health conditions and disabilities, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £38,500 - £41,500 per annum, plus a 5% retention bonus, rising to 10% quality & retention bonus. You will also receive a hybrid full-time and part-time working arrangement, with 25 days holiday per annum, rising to 27 days with service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage caseloads from end to end, including face-to-face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls, and paper-based reports.
  • Assess a wide range of health conditions and disabilities, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual, and cognitive impairments.
  • Have time for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence, and team meetings.
Requirements
  • Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic.
  • Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.
