Job Title: Teacher of the Deaf
Description: We are seeking a qualified teacher to join our team at Richmond and Wandsworth Councils. As a Teacher of the Deaf, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to deaf pupils across the borough.
Responsibilities:
- To teach deaf children and young people in a specialist setting
- To work closely with healthcare professionals to provide holistic support to deaf pupils
- To contribute to the development of cultural opportunities, including community projects tailored to the sensory needs of children and young people
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Experience of teaching deaf children and young people or transferrable skills and experience
- Confidence in exploring and adopting new technology and software
Benefits:

Salary: £32,500 - £42,780 per annum (inclusive of SEN1 point)
