Job Title: Specialist Support Professional

This role involves adapting communication strategies to meet the unique needs and abilities of students with sensory impairments.

  • Developing effective communication plans to break down complex concepts into accessible language.
  • Collaborating with students, staff, and other support services to ensure seamless support delivery.

This is a dynamic position requiring flexibility and adaptability. As a Specialist Support Professional, you will work closely with students, academic staff, and support services to deliver tailored support.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have expertise in deaf studies and relevant postgraduate qualifications or equivalent experience. This role requires variable working hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on student needs and academic timetables.

We offer ongoing training and professional development opportunities, public liability insurance coverage, and flexible working arrangements. You will be required to register as self-employed to fulfill the requirements of the role.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, dependent on experience. Please note that this figure is based on industry standards and may vary according to location.
