Construction Logistics and Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Construction Logistics and Procurement Specialist to join our Europlan Group team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the logistics and procurement operations of our construction projects, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of materials, equipment, and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate material procurement, including delivery to construction sites on time and in the right quantities.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and implement systems for tracking reorder points and restocking materials as needed.
- Arrange and manage transportation of materials and equipment to and from construction sites.
- Ensure safe and secure storage of construction materials and equipment.
- Identify potential logistical risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Prepare and manage budgets for logistics-related expenses.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards related to transportation and handling of construction materials and equipment.
- Collaborate closely with project managers and site supervisors to align logistics with project timelines and goals.
Requirements:
- Advanced or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, purchasing, supply chain management).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant software and technologies for logistics management.
- Strong understanding of logistics principles, including procurement, inventory management, transportation, and warehousing.
Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
