IT Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to join our team in the UK or Ireland.
">About the RoleThis permanent, full-time position offers a salary of £43,800 - £62,300+ performance-related bonus, plus a range of benefits. You will be based in one of our key sites, with flexible working options available.
As IT Procurement Specialist, you will source IT Software, Cloud, Services, and Hardware for SSE, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external legislation.
- You will support Category Managers and Procurement Managers in day-to-day procurement activities and develop contracting and sourcing strategies.
- You will ensure cost-effectiveness and robust contractual provisions to mitigate risks in contract delivery.
- You will also manage supplier relationships and performanc
- You will have a broad knowledge of IT markets, including software, services, cloud, and hardware, as well as UK Procurement Legislation.
- Proficiency in Procurement systems like Oracle, Jaggaer, and Achilles Utility Vendor Database is required.
- Excellent communication skills, analytical and numeracy skills, and ability to review contracts and identify commercial risk are essential.
