About the Role

As a Credit Controller at Exclusive Networks, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts receivable process. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively review the sales ledger, identify potential issues, and take prompt action to minimize the risk of bad debt.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively review the sales ledger to identify invoices that are falling due for payment or overdue.
  • Chase all invoices for payment, prioritizing by age and value where necessary.
  • Answer customer queries in a timely manner, providing clear and concise information to resolve any issues.
  • Raise all invoices and pro-formas for fulfilled orders, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
  • Access portals for electronic invoicing to customers, streamlining the payment process.
  • Circulate mid and end of month statements as required, keeping customers informed of their account status.
  • Log and allocate cash postings onto our accounting system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Update the AR spreadsheet daily, deleting any customers who have paid in full.
  • Identify any overdue balances that require escalation to the AR Manager for further action.
  • Assist the AR Manager in the production of the weekly cash forecast review, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Upload customer invoices onto our procurement systems, ensuring seamless integration with our operations.
Requirements:
  • Accounts Receivable or Credit Control experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proactive approach, with a confident and professional telephone manner.
  • High level of attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent experience of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with a user-level understanding.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Process-oriented approach, with the ability to use initiative to streamline and learn new processes.
  • Ability to work confidentially, with sensitivity and discretion.
