UK Credit Manager

We are seeking a skilled Credit Manager to maximise credit terms across our customer accounts. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Credit Analyst to manage and mitigate risks, ensuring the growth of the business on a local and international level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively work with sales and customers to maximise credit terms
- Support the AP/AR Manager in managing the credit control team
- Develop strong relationships with customers' CFOs and FDs to evaluate risks
- Provide credit availability updates and credit exposure reports to the senior leadership team
- Manage credit control resources and suppliers
- Gather relevant information on customers to make credit decisions
- Manage the credit risk register
- Liaise with credit insurance suppliers
- Resolve internal and external queries
- Ensure accurate invoicing and customer payments
- Keep customer call history up to date on NetSuite
Requirements:
- FCICM Qualified or qualified by experience
- 5+ years Credit Management Experience
- Experience working in credit control and IT distribution or IT Reseller environments
- Service-driven with a can-do attitude and strong relationship-building skills
- Analytical and detail-oriented with strong research skills
- Supportive team player with organisational and time management skills
