We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Manager to join our strategic Credit Risk team at Exclusive Networks. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in maximizing credit terms across our customer accounts and working closely with the Credit Analyst to manage and mitigate risks.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively work with sales and customers to maximize credit terms, ensuring needs and expectations are addressed.
- Collaborate with the Sales Director to explore new options for providing more extensive credit terms.
- Support the AP/AR Manager in managing the credit control team, minimizing overdue invoices and reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Build relationships with customers' CFOs and FDs to evaluate risks and provide credit availability updates.
- Develop a strong working relationship with the Commercial Director, advising on potential risks and escalating as needed.
- Provide regular credit exposure reports to the senior leadership team.
- Manage credit control resources and suppliers.
- Gather relevant information on customers to make informed credit decisions.
- Manage the credit risk register and liaise with credit insurance suppliers.
- Resolve internal and external queries and ensure accurate invoicing and customer payments.
- Keep customer call history up to date on NetSuite.
- FCICM qualification or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of credit management experience.
- Experience working in credit control and IT distribution or IT Reseller environments is advantageous.
- Service-driven with a can-do attitude and strong relationship-building skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with strong research skills.
- A supportive team player who is organized and thrives under pressure.
- Confident and approachable with a proactive and solution-driven mindset.
