Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Planning Specialist to join our Strategic Planning team. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to define and review our corporate strategy, drive analysis around key market/competitor changes, identify value creation opportunities, and support the delivery of strategically important projects across the business.

The ideal candidate will have significant drive to manage large and complex projects with autonomy, using senior stakeholder and relationship management skills. They will also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate financial impact and develop strategic recommendations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Work in a small, dynamic team within the Strategic Planning and CEO Office, with direct interface into the CEO and excellent opportunities for professional growth and development. Track and evaluate the progress of strategic projects, making changes as needed to stay aligned with company goals.
  • Quantitative and Economic Analysis: Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives and operational improvements through detailed quantitative and economic analysis. Develop and use financial models and forecasting tools to support strategic planning and decision-making. Analyze economic trends, market data, and financial metrics to provide insights and recommendations for strategic adjustments.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on market and competitive analysis to inform decision-making.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of managing large and complex projects with autonomy, using senior stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate financial impact and develop strategic recommendations.
