Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist Renal Dietitian to join our dynamic team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals. As a Specialist Renal Dietitian, you will play a vital role in providing expert nutritional care to patients with acute and chronic kidney disease.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Renal Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will work closely with healthcare staff, patients, and families to provide personalized nutritional advice and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist nutritional assessment and advice to patients with acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease stages 3-5.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to support patients with renal replacement therapy and renal transplant.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide integrated dietetic care and support.
  • Participate in education and training programs to develop the skills and knowledge of healthcare staff and students.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance policies and procedures.
