Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic dietitian to join our Renal Dietetic Team. As a Specialist Renal Dietitian, you will play a crucial role in providing expert nutritional advice and care to patients with acute and chronic kidney disease.

Main Responsibilities

As a key member of our multidisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing specialist nutritional assessment and advice to patients with acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease stages 3-5.
  • Working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including face-to-face and telephone clinics.
  • Attending multidisciplinary team meetings and ward rounds to advocate for patients and escalate nutritional concerns.
  • Participating in the department's clinical governance agenda to ensure quality and maintain standards.
  • Delivering training to healthcare staff, patients, and students on nutrition and dietetics.
