Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our team at DB Schenker. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ULD Builds: Complete all Unit Load Device builds to airline specifications as instructed by LHR Gateway, ensuring aircraft safety is maintained at all times.
  • Freight Handling: Receive and process inbound freight using the GXD system and WMS, and book and process outbound freight using the same systems.
  • Forklift Operations: Safely load and unload vehicles using a forklift, adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Freight Sorting: Sort and split freight according to customer SOPs, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Manual Handling: Perform manual handling tasks frequently, prioritizing employee safety and well-being.

Requirements:

  • ULD Build Experience: Possess experience in building Unit Load Devices, with a strong understanding of airline specifications.
  • Warehouse Experience: Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is essential, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
  • Reach Truck License: Hold a valid Reach Truck license, with a strong understanding of forklift operations and safety protocols.
  • Computer Literacy: Possess basic computer skills, with proficiency in using the GXD system and WMS.
  • Time Management: Demonstrate excellent timekeeping and attendance, with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
