Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Debt Resolution Specialist to join our Ability to Pay Team. As a Debt Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving customer debt issues, providing support and guidance to customers in need, and working closely with our team to ensure that customers receive the best possible outcome.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve customer debt issues through effective communication and negotiation
  • Provide support and guidance to customers in need, including those who are vulnerable or experiencing financial difficulties
  • Work closely with our team to ensure that customers receive the best possible outcome
  • Conduct health checks for repayment arrangements and advise on any payment revisions or amendments
  • Identify customers who may be at risk of debt and provide additional support and guidance
  • Address customer ability to pay regarding unbarring and reconnection of telco services
  • Complete income and expenditure forms with customers to gather further information on their affordability

Requirements

  • Strong customer service experience and a passion for resolving customer issues
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Emotional intelligence and empathy when dealing with customers in need
  • Previous experience in debt recovery or a related field is desirable
