Location: Stafford, VA

Introduction:

Honu Services is a leading provider of professional support services to the Marine Corps Systems Command. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Acquisition SME to join our team as a Task Lead.

The successful candidate will provide knowledge, support, and sound guidance in Program and Acquisition Management for the Marine Corps Systems Command technology customer's decision making and acquisition processes. They will be responsible for providing innovative, cost-effective, and on-target solutions to digital and enterprise services requirements consistent with law, regulation, and policy.

Duties:

As a Task Lead, the Senior Acquisition SME will be responsible for:

  1. Providing primary point of contact for the supported customer Task Lead and related customer stakeholders during the team's shift.
  2. Leading the contractor support team of 5-7 acquisition and program analysts, providing vision, strategy, direction, oversight, and quality control of task-level performance, including subcontractors.
  3. Empowering the team to set the standard for professional excellence for our subcontractor partners and our competitors.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. Ten years of DoD acquisition management experience of increasing complexity in recent information technology environments and programs, including experience implementing Agile principles and methods.
  2. Experience in the direct supervision of professionals in program and acquisition management, including logistics, finance, contracts, and engineering, IT, data, and other DoD acquisition command professional service requirements.
  3. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook).
