About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Management Accountant to join our finance team at Hays Senior Finance. As a Senior Management Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and support to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of management accounts packs
  • Month end P&L, balance sheet reconciliations
  • Responsible for overhead forecasting and budgeting
  • Support and work with the CFO on long term objectives for the department
  • Identify business opportunities to support growth and reduce costs as necessary
  • Produce 13 week weekly short term cashflow forecasts
  • General ledger maintenance including reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
  • Cash book maintenance and bank reconciliations
  • Fixed Asset register
  • VAT Returns
  • Business partnering with non-financial stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and financial efficiency
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
  • Monitoring and reporting on KPIs
  • Supporting the year-end audit process
  • Process improvement to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

We are looking for a CIMA or ACCA qualified accountant with proven experience in a management accounting role, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
