Job Title: Senior Acquisition SME (Task Lead - 1)

Location: Stafford, VA

Introduction:

Honu Services is a leading provider of professional support services to the Marine Corps Systems Command. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Acquisition SME to join our team as a Task Lead.

The successful candidate will provide knowledge, support, and sound guidance in Program and Acquisition Management for the Marine Corps Systems Command technology customer's decision-making and acquisition processes. They will be responsible for providing innovative, cost-effective, and on-target solutions to digital and enterprise services requirements consistent with law, regulation, and policy.

Duties:

The Senior Acquisition SME will be responsible for:

  • Providing knowledge, support, and sound guidance in Program and Acquisition Management for the Marine Corps Systems Command technology customer's decision-making and acquisition processes.
  • Providing innovative, cost-effective, and on-target solutions to digital and enterprise services requirements consistent with law, regulation, and policy.
  • Leading the contractor support team of 5-7 acquisition and program analysts.
  • Providing vision, strategy, direction, oversight, and quality control of task-level performance, including subcontractors.
  • Supporting the synchronization of contractor personnel at different levels of the organization.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have:

  • Fifteen years of DoD acquisition management experience of increasing complexity in recent information technology environments and programs.
  • Experience in the direct supervision of professionals in program and acquisition management, including logistics, finance, contracts, and engineering, IT, data, and other DoD acquisition command professional service requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel, and Outlook).

Education or Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • PMI Project Management Professional certification or DAWIA Program Management Level III.
