Job Title: Experienced General Sales Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a results-driven General Sales Manager to spearhead our sales strategy and drive business growth. As a seasoned sales leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing a customer-centric approach that prioritizes innovation and engineering.
Main Responsibilities:
- Revenue Growth: Develop and implement a sales strategy that drives profitable revenue growth through customer-centric initiatives and innovative solutions.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, manage, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve stretch targets and objectives.
- Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with key customers and suppliers to drive sales penetration and growth.
- Commercial Acumen: Analyze and drive sales performance across key markets and customers, using data and metrics to inform strategic decisions.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive sustainable revenue growth.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leading high-energy sales teams and driving revenue growth.
- Commercial Knowledge: Strong understanding of commercial and contractual levers to drive growth and eliminate risk.
- Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the industries within Energy & Transportation and awareness of corporate industrial distribution businesses and OEMs.
- Education: Degree qualified, ideally engineering with a post-graduate qualification such as an MBA, would be beneficial.
