Empowering Young Minds: SEN Teaching Assistant Role
About the OpportunityWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Meldreth, Nr Royston, Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border. As a vital member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in supporting students aged 5-19 with social, emotional struggles, profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs.
You will collaborate with experienced teaching staff to offer academic and vocational support, helping students thrive both educationally and personally. Whether in the classroom, during Bushcraft activities outdoors, or in life skills sessions, your contribution will have a meaningful impact.
In this role, you will provide essential support in a highly specialised learning environment, helping students to manage sensory overload, anxiety, and transitions while working towards their personal and educational goals. You'll be working both inside the classroom and within the wider community to create a positive and empowering environment for all learners.

To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Educated to at least Level 2 in Maths and English (or equivalent).
- A proven ability to work with students with complex needs.
