About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a degree or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering and previous experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all machinery complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and malfunctions
- Ensure all machinery complies with safety regulations and quality standards
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency
- Degree or certification in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Previous experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Competitive salary between £50,000-£70,000 per annum
