About the Position

This critical role involves ensuring the reliable operation of electrical systems and equipment in the manufacturing area, driving continuous development and optimization. As part of the team, you will be responsible for servicing the requirements of the manufacturing process to assist the plant meet its KPI requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include installing and maintaining high-speed, industrial process equipment for can making, power, lighting, control, and PLC logic controls for all production processes and control. You will also troubleshoot, adjust, and repair all electrical equipment, components, transducers, and complex timing and inspection devices.

Essential Qualifications
  • Apprenticeship in an Engineering/Mechanical discipline or equivalent experience
  • Relevant electrical engineering qualification
  • Current Electrical certification

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, effective communication, organizational, and influencing skills. Experience of working in a manufacturing background in a high-speed, high-volume continuous process is essential, along with the ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
