About the Role


We are seeking an exceptional Administrative Support Officer to join our team at the NHS Business Services Authority.


Main Responsibilities



  • Provide excellent customer support through accurate processing of customer queries.
  • Liaise with customers, internal and external, to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Support various work streams, meeting performance and quality levels.
  • Analyse and interpret complex information across different services and workstreams.
  • Update, amend, and annotate relevant actions on computer systems.
  • Process financial applications and reports, and calculate payments.
  • Identify duplicate and fraudulent applications, taking appropriate steps.
  • Support colleagues and act as a mentor when required.
  • Perform routine quality checks on work samples.
  • Responsible for adhering to data security and GDPR guidelines.
  • Sort incoming and outgoing mail, allocating post to relevant work streams.
  • Perform routine checks on original documentation and evidence for authenticity.
  • Work in an organised manner, complying with office systems and procedures.
  • Participate in meetings, focus groups, and workshops to promote innovation and change.
