We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Administrative Support Officer to join our team at the NHS Business Services Authority.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing administrative support to senior leaders across various directorates.

As an Administrative Support Officer, you will be responsible for driving seamless administration, collaborating with other teams to bring initiatives to life.

  • Answering and responding to enquiries appropriately, dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Developing and maintaining effective information management systems, including a shared reference, information, and filing system.
  • Planning, arranging, and attending meetings as requested, ensuring action points are recorded.
  • Booking travel, accommodation, and ordering refreshments for meetings and external visitors.
  • Assisting in the administration of business events or meetings by undertaking a wide range of duties.

You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide administrative support to senior leaders, responding to enquiries and managing information.
  2. Develop and maintain effective information management systems, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  3. Arrange meetings, book travel, and order refreshments as required.
  4. Support the administration of business events and meetings.
  5. Perform general office duties, such as photocopying and preparing information.
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum 5 GCSE's Grade C (or equivalent) including English.
  • Good standard of computer literacy, including Email, Databases, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience of using office equipment and computerised office systems.
  • Able to work on own initiative, with a flexible approach to work.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also receive:
