Job Title: Quality Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team in Stafford. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct final quality inspections and incoming inspections to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Utilize manual or automated measurement and testing equipment to assure quality of products.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections and set area management of the parts.
  • Ensure quality of parts meet specification requirements.
  • Prevent non-conforming parts from proceeding to the next workstation.
  • Collect data and feedback on the quality of parts inspected to the Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Engineers.
  • Identify and document non-conforming parts.
  • Inspect all raw materials and purchased parts to determine conformance to requirements.
  • Work with team members to find creative solutions to address complex problems.
  • Investigate defects and coordinate with Engineering and supplier quality engineers to manage rework/scrap/investigation as necessary.
  • Perform and support internal quality audits.
Requirements:
  • Relevant Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of related work experience in Quality or Manufacturing environment or 5+ years related work experience in Quality or Manufacturing environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Experience in using manual and automated measurement and test equipment for dimensional inspection activities.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment essential.

  • Strong desire to learn and keep updated on regulations and standards.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Able to manage priorities and escalate concerns as necessary.
  • Competent user of PC and software applications such as Microsoft Office, SAP, etc.
  • Experience in Problem Solving methodologies (A3, 8D, etc) a benefit.
