About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Staffordshire County Council. As a key member of our Employer Skills Service and Staffordshire Jobs & Careers Service, you will play a vital role in enhancing outcomes for candidates and businesses across Staffordshire.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Quality Assurance Standards
    • Design and implement a robust quality assurance framework to ensure the highest standards of quality in our services.
  • Empower and Support Staff
    • Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to staff to ensure successful implementation and embedding of new initiatives, with a focus on quality of practice.
  • Support Fidelity Assessments
    • Coordinate preparation for supported employment Fidelity assessments, ensuring processes are robust and quality assurance records are up-to-date.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Use reflective learning from Fidelity assessments, reviews, and audits to improve continuous practice, performance, and commissioning outcomes.

The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

  • Extensive Knowledge of Quality Assurance Tools
    • Expert knowledge in quality assurance and performance intelligence, including implementing robust data quality mechanisms and recording standards.
  • Experience in Quality Framework Development
    • Experience in developing quality framework self-assessment documents and processes.
  • Leadership and Motivation
    • Experience in motivating and mentoring staff or leading on performance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
