About the Job

We are looking for a skilled Building Products Account Manager to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about selling building products to main contractors, roofing contractors, and other building professionals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting a wide range of building products including insulation, dry lining, waterproofing, masonry components, concrete & reinforcement, geotechnical, waterproofing, roofing & façade materials.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a profit-related bonus. We also offer a range of benefits including company pension and 23 days annual leave.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and sales skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Promoting building products to main contractors, roofing contractors, and other building professionals
  • Selling into commercial and residential projects
  • Upselling and cross-selling on products and providing technical support
  • Handling inbound enquiries and pricing up projects
  • Pro-actively calling dormant accounts to generate fresh business
  • General administration activities

Requirements

  • Experience working with main contractors, roofing contractors, and other building professionals
