Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Calibration Technician to join our team at BAE Systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-end calibrations and repairs on electrical test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform complex calibrations and repairs on a wide range of electrical test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Deliver targeted training and experiential learning to team members and apprentices/graduates.
  • Assist the team leader with people/resource management, workflow management, and workload signoff.
  • Develop and approve calibration procedures and measurement uncertainty budgets.
  • Participate in quality audits, achieving UKAS signatory status.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience working in a precision electrical calibration/metrology laboratory environment.
  • Understanding of quality systems & standards (ISO 17025/ISO 9001).
  • Relevant academic qualification (STEM Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent).
