Electrical Systems Specialist

Job Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Commissioning Professional, working on the development of platform electrical systems. Our team is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these systems, and we are looking for someone with a strong background in electrical engineering to help us achieve this goal.
As a Senior Commissioning Professional, you will be responsible for writing technical documentation, reviewing technical drawings, and utilizing business toolsets to support testing and commissioning of platform electrical systems. You will also work closely with the Build/Engineering teams to ensure that electrical Test & Commissioning requirements are embedded into the Program Schedule.
The ideal candidate will have a HNC/HND or equivalent in a related discipline, experience with electrical testing, functional checks, and fault finding, and knowledge of safety controls & procedures in a high-risk environment. A degree in a relevant electrical engineering discipline and professional registration with an Engineering Council are highly desirable.
We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience, and a range of benefits including employee share plans, health insurance, and shopping discounts. We also offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
