Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Biomedical Scientist to join our Pathology team at The London Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising technical and scientific work in the laboratory, ensuring the highest standards of quality and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the work of biomedical scientists, ensuring compliance with laboratory standards and protocols.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures, ensuring adherence to UKAS standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Result Validation: Validate and authorize laboratory results, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Communication: Communicate results and laboratory findings to healthcare professionals, ensuring timely and effective decision-making.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with laboratory staff, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Current state registration as a Biomedical Scientist in the UK (HCPC), BSc Biomedical Science or equivalent, and completion of specialist training or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong technical knowledge, excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
