Industry Progression Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Industry Progression Manager at The Production Guild. This exciting role requires an individual who can build strong relationships with industry professionals and organizations to support student progression into the creative industries.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and Maintain Industry Partnerships: Develop and maintain productive working relationships with industry professionals and organizations to generate mentoring and work experience opportunities for our students.
- Manage Work Experience Programmes: Oversee the development and implementation of work experience programmes to ensure that all students participate in industry-based projects and gain valuable skills and experience.
- Recruit and Match Mentors: Identify and recruit industry professionals from various sectors of the creative industries and carefully match them with student mentees who qualify for the programme.
- Communicate Programmes Effectively: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote the Mentor and Work Experience Programmes to our students and staff, maximizing engagement and participation.
- Monitor and Evaluate Programmes: Record student engagement in the work experience and mentoring programmes and monitor the impact of these programmes on student outcomes.
- Oversee Programme Administration: Oversee the practical and administrative tasks associated with the Mentor and Work Experience Programmes.
- Strong Industry Knowledge: Possess a strong interest in and a good understanding of the UK creative industries.
- Passion for Student Development: Be motivated to work with young people to support their professional development and achievement of their career goals.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate confident and outgoing communication skills, both on the phone and in-person.
- Technical Skills: Possess strong computer skills, including proficiency in GSuite, Canva, AirTable, and Substack.
- Commitment to Equality and Diversity: Demonstrate a commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion, and a passion for making the creative industries accessible to all.
- Creative Industry Experience: Possess experience working in the creative industries.
- Experience Working with Young People: Have experience working with young people, preferably in a mentorship or coaching capacity.
- Knowledge of Progression Routes: Possess knowledge of progression routes and opportunities for young people within the creative industries.
