Industry Progression Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team as an Industry Progression Manager at The Production Guild. This exciting role requires an individual who can build strong relationships with industry professionals and organizations to support student progression into the creative industries.
Key Responsibilities- Industry Partnerships: Establish and maintain productive working relationships with industry professionals and organizations to generate mentoring and work experience opportunities for our students.
- Programme Management: Manage the Guild's Work Experience Programme to develop sufficient industry work experience opportunities to ensure that all students participate in work experience over the two-year course.
- Mentorship: Manage the Guild's Mentor Programme, recruiting industry professionals from all sectors of the creative industries and carefully matching them with student mentees who qualify for the programme.
- Communication: Effectively communicate the Mentor and Work Experience Programmes to our students and staff to maximize engagement in both programmes.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: Record student engagement in the Guild's work experience and mentoring programmes and monitor the impact of these programmes on student outcomes.
- Administrative Support: Oversee the practical and administrative tasks associated with the Mentor & Work Experience Programmes.
- Creative Industry Experience: Strong interest in and a good understanding of the UK creative industries.
- Student Development: Motivated to work with young people to support their professional development and achievement of their career goals.
- Communication Skills: Confident and outgoing both on the phone and in-person.
- Technical Skills: Strong computer skills (GSuite, Canva, AirTable, Substack all used - training can be provided).
