Business Development Manager

Amazon Shipping is seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Senior Business Development Manager to join our UK team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities for Amazon Shipping. Your day will involve utilizing various sales and marketing channels for lead generation, proactively sourcing new leads, and building a robust pipeline. You will need to stay close to the pulse on market trends within Logistics, Supply Chain, and Shipping. Securing new business will require you to engage with clients, earn their trust, and tailor business plans to their needs. Once a customer has onboarded, you will be responsible for driving spend adoption and optimization of the Amazon Shipping product. Constantly evaluate and improve processes, seeking opportunities for business expansion and addressing challenges proactively.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities for Amazon Shipping
- Drive revenue, adoption, and market segment share for our product
- Prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management
- Client Engagement and Relationship Building
- Negotiation and Closing
- Customer Launch, Onboarding, and Account Management
- Ongoing evaluation and improvement
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
- Experience in a professional field or military
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules
