Job Description

The Maternity Service Lead for Safety is a critical role within the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality in the provision of maternity care. The successful candidate will be a seasoned midwife with extensive experience in managing risk, developing quality improvement initiatives, and providing expert guidance to colleagues at all levels.

This role requires a deep understanding of clinical governance principles, systems, and processes, as well as experience in working with multidisciplinary teams, managing routine and complex staff management issues, and developing effective communication channels to ensure open and honest dialogue between staff, women, and families using the service.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with diverse stakeholders, negotiate and influence effectively, and work collaboratively to achieve shared goals. We offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including excellent training opportunities and a supportive work environment.
