About Our Team:

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Campus Development Administrator to join our team at UKAEA. This role is vital in ensuring that our department operates smoothly and efficiently, enabling us to focus on our mission of advancing nuclear fusion technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, resolving inquiries and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain the office environment, managing supplies and distributing important information.
  • Organise UK and international travel, accommodation, and conference registration.
  • Plan and coordinate business events to align with departmental needs.
  • Manage diaries, arrange meetings, and prepare agendas and minutes.
  • Assist managers with document processing, filing, and follow-up actions.
  • Maintain and update records and databases, including Common Data Environment (CDE) and SharePoint.
  • Facilitate onboarding for new starters, ensuring all necessary IT equipment and access are provided.
  • Handle purchasing and order processing accurately in relevant systems.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure effective information sharing and communication.
  • Promote UKAEA's values, championing equality, diversity, and inclusion within the workplace.
  • Undertake additional reasonable tasks as requested by management.
