The UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) is at the forefront of realising fusion energy, a cleaner and carbon-free source of power. We are seeking an Administrative Support Professional to join our People & Culture Department.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity will see you provide administrative and organisational support to the Director of People and Culture and the Head of Fusion Skills. You will be the first point of contact for general queries and be responsible for resolving problems or escalating them as required.

You will also monitor and follow-up on People and Culture Department and Fusion Skills activities, such as updating the Departments Information Asset Register. Additionally, you will arrange UK and international travel and accommodation for the department, following UKAEA processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support with new starter onboarding processes for People and Culture Department and Foster Programme new starters
  • Order and distribute stationery or other purchases required for the People and Culture Department and Foster Programme
  • Assist with departmental, general and apprentice recruitment activity where needed

In this role, you will work closely with the wider People and Culture Department and Foster Programme team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. You will have excellent customer service skills, IT skills, and be able to treat sensitive data appropriately and with discretion.
