Youth Support Coordinator

Dorset Councils seeks a highly motivated Youth Support Coordinator to join its Child and Family Services Team. This is a full-time role, requiring 37 hours of work per week. The successful candidate will provide critical support to children and young people in need of care.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete thorough assessments of new Supported Lodgings Hosts, ensuring they receive the necessary training and ongoing support.
- Perform statutory visits every 6 weeks, maintaining accurate and timely record-keeping.
- Provide consistent support and supervision to Supported Lodgings Hosts, promoting high standards of care.
- You are a qualified social worker, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- You have experience working with children and young people, ideally in a statutory social care environment.
- You possess excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality written reports and meet deadlines.
- The estimated salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
